Privacy policy

The short version. We do not collect email addresses and there is no account, login, or newsletter. The only thing you can send us is an optional quote and an optional display name. Third-party advertising and analytics do set cookies — the details are below, along with how to control them.

1. Site operator

This privacy policy is issued by ELIMWorks, the operator of Healing-Finder (the “Site”). Questions can be sent through our contact page.

2. Information we collect

Healing-Finder does not ask visitors to register, log in, or provide an email address. If you use the optional quote submission feature on the Healing-Words page, we collect only the quote text and an optional display name — never an email address or other contact information. Submissions are stored so that a person can review them before publication.

3. Automatically collected data

Like most websites, the Site and its hosting provider automatically log basic technical information — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages visited — for security, abuse prevention, and to understand which pages are useful. We also use a web analytics service to measure aggregate traffic; it is configured not to be used for identifying individual visitors.

4. Advertising cookies

The Site displays third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can review and change your personalised advertising settings at any time at Google My Ad Center, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies through optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.

5. Cookie consent for EEA, UK and Switzerland visitors

This Site does not currently run an automated cookie-consent banner or consent management platform. Until one is in place, visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland should assume that the advertising and analytics cookies described in Section 4 may be set as soon as a page loads, and should use their browser's cookie settings, together with the Google links in Section 4, to control or refuse them.

Before advertising is enabled for visitors in these regions, we will add a Google-certified consent management platform that lets you accept, refuse, or manage cookies by purpose and vendor, and reopen those choices at any time from the site footer. This page will be updated, and the date above revised, when that happens.

If you are in a US state with an applicable privacy law, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising using the Google links in Section 4. We do not currently detect or act on Global Privacy Control signals; this page will be updated if that changes.

6. How we use information

Information described above is used solely to operate and improve the Site — for example, reviewing submitted quotes before publication, keeping the Site available and free of abuse, and understanding which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.

7. Data retention

Submitted quotes are retained while published, or deleted if declined. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes and then discarded.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites and reference sources such as medical and research organisations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any site we do not operate, and we encourage you to review their policies separately.

9. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.

10. Your choices

Because we don't collect emails or maintain accounts, there is generally no personal data to access, export, or delete beyond what's described above. You can control or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you have submitted a quote and want it removed, contact us and describe it — we'll take it down.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
