Health information is only as good as the process behind it. This page describes that process plainly, including where AI is used and where it isn't, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give what you read here.

1. What we publish β€” and what we don't

We publish general educational information about nutrients and dietary supplements. We do not publish treatment protocols, diagnostic guidance, dosing instructions for individuals, or claims that a supplement prevents, treats, or cures disease. Where a topic is genuinely medical β€” neuropathy, thyroid disease, diabetes management β€” we say so and point the reader toward a clinician rather than filling the gap ourselves.

2. Sources

Guides are built from, in order of preference:

Every reference links to the specific page consulted, not to a publisher's home page. Manufacturer websites, supplement retailers, and affiliate-driven "top 10" articles are not used as sources.

3. How evidence is described

Each guide includes a table separating well-supported uses from preliminary or unsupported ones. We use consistent language: moderate, mixed, limited, insufficient. Mechanistic and animal findings are labelled as such, because a plausible mechanism is not an outcome. Biomarker changes are not described as clinical benefits.

4. Use of AI research assistance

We use AI tools to help gather literature, draft first passes, and check internal consistency across guides. No guide is published on the strength of an AI draft alone. Every factual claim, dosing range, interaction, and reference is checked against a primary source by a person before publication, and a review date.

5. Review and dating

Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. Guides are re-checked when relevant guidance changes, when a significant new review is published, or on a routine cycle β€” whichever comes first. If a page's review date is old, treat it accordingly.

6. Corrections

If you find an error β€” a misstated dose, a broken or mismatched reference, an interaction we've missed β€” please tell us and include the page name. We correct substantive errors promptly and update the review date when we do.

7. Independence and advertising

Healing-Finder displays third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) to cover its running costs. Advertisers have no input into what we publish, how evidence is characterised, or which nutrients are covered. We do not accept payment for favourable coverage of a product or brand, and we do not name or recommend specific commercial products. See our privacy policy for how advertising cookies are handled.

8. User-submitted content

Quotes submitted through Healing-Words are reviewed by a person before they appear. We publish only original writing or material clearly in the public domain. See the terms of service for details.
